The West Bengal IT Incentive Scheme, 2001

The West Bengal State Government has considered it necessary and expedient to draw up a comprehensive Incentive Scheme for IT industry and IT enabled services on the basis of West Bengal Incentive Scheme, 2000. It shall come into effect on and from the 1st day of November, 2001 in the whole of West Bengal and shall remain valid for a period of five years ending on the 31st October, 2006.

IT Industry - Incentive Scheme 1999-2004 (Gujarat) 

Recognizing the need to accelerate the development of IT industry in the state of Gujarat, the Government has declared this scheme which is operational from 01-04-99 and shall remain in force for a period of 5 years, from that date. This in turn will help proliferate IT culture in the state and create large-scale employment opportunities.

Incentives for Promoting the IT Industry and IT-enabled Services

The Government has announced certain incentives for promoting the IT Industry and IT-enabled services in the state of Andhra Pradesh. For simplification of procedure, to comply with various regulatory Acts and Rules, the Government has agreed in principle for 'Self-Certification' as far as possible for the management in IT Industry regarding the provisions of certain Labour Laws.

Incentives for providing infrastructure for IT Industry, IT-enabled services in the State - Automatic Conversion or exemption from Zoning Regulations in certain Land Uses for IT Parks

Orders were issued exempting IT Software Units from Zoning Regulations in certain Land Uses for the purpose of locations. The Government further examined the matter relating to exemption of IT Parks being developed by Construction Firms / Builders from the Zoning Regulations.

Incentives for promoting the IT Industry and IT-enabled Services in the State - Automatic conversion or exemption from Zoning Regulations and exemption from payment of conversion charges

Orders were issued exempting IT Software Industry from Zoning Regulations for purposes of location. Government further examined the matter relating to exemption of Information Technology Software Units from the Zoning Regulations and also payment of conversion charges for the location of IT Units in consultation with IT & Communications Department.
