Zenith Software to tie up with Norway-based SOC

BANGALORE: Bangalore-based Zenith Software Ltd (ZSL) on Monday announced its plans to foray into the Scandinavian market through a partnership with Norway-based Software Offshoring Consulting. 

Software Offshoring Consulting (SOC) is part of the Norwegian Data-Invest Group, who have been providing progressive and market-oriented solutions and services to clients in the Nordic region, a ZSL statement said. 

"This partnership will expand ZSL's footprint in the European market which has been growing rapidly. The European operations of ZSL are expected to contribute about 40 per cent of the revenues in the next fiscal", it said. 

ZSL, part of the Zenith Group provides IT/ITES services across various domains with major focus on insurance, travel, retail and financial services with global offices in the US, the UK and Australia. 

Company's CEO P Sampathkumar said ZSL and SOC have been working together for the last one year on joint product development activity for the automotive industry. 

"This product will also be maintained by ZSL for all the clients across the globe. It will also market the product in some of the countries. It has also helped ZSL get an understanding on the Nordic market expectations", he said. 

"This relationship has now matured into partnership wherein ZSL-SOC would jointly market and provide offshore development services to companies in the Nordic region".

Take Solutions to finalise Four Soft merger in a month

MUMBAI: Take Solutions Ltd expects its merger with Four Soft Ltd to be finalised within a month, Vice-Chairman H.R. Srinivasan told a news channel on Monday. 

The delay in the merger was due to revision on valuations and the merger ratio, he added. Take Solutions is a logistics services provider.

Satyam BPO ranked second globally

Hyderabad, June 30 IT services provider Satyam Computer on Monday announced that Satyam BPO, its business process outsourcing arm, has been ranked second among the world’s leading BPO vendors in Brown-Wilson Group’s Black Book of Outsourcing. 

Satyam BPO was also ranked fourth on the knowledge process outsourcing vendors list. More than 4,000 organisations were evaluated in compiling the lists.

For the third consecutive year, Satyam has been ranked among the top 10 in Brown-Wilson Group’s Black Book of Outsourcing. In 2007 and 2006, Satyam BPO, formerly Nipuna, had been ranked in several categories including KPO, energy and utilities.

The Chief Executive Officer of Satyam BPO, Mr Venkatesh Roddam, in a statement said “The categories in which we have been ranked this year (BPO and KPO) are the key growth areas that we have been focusing on. Recognition from the Brown-Wilson Group reflects our capabilities to offer transformation services through superior delivery.
